Many ways to get involved!

Throughout the year and around Kansas City, there's something unique and fun to participate in with our friendly, helpful guild. You will enjoy working on community service projects, participating in interesting challenges, hearing inspiring speakers, learning new skills at workshops, and entering the biannual quilt show. There is something for everyone!  Find your niche by joining in a few (or a lot!) of guild activities.

Fun Challenges

Margie Dykman comes up with all sorts of activities for the guild members to participate in. 2022 was the Crayola challenge where members randomly selected a crayon from a bag and were challenged to make a quilt with that color. 2023 gave us the Magazine Challenge. Members blindly selected an envelope with a magazine page and were challenged to make a quilt using whatever inspired them from the page - a color, a word, a scene, a symbol, etc. We can’t wait to see what Marji surprises us with in 2024!

I love the guild!

I would go to guild if the only thing they offered was show and tell. It is amazing to see everyone’s work and creativity. Even the donation / community quilts are great.
