Kim’s sewing and now quilting journey began when she was just a girl and her mother (Donna Bogue, long-time QGGKC member!) taught her how to sew first by making doll clothes, then her own garments, and finally quilting and machine embroidery. Kim’s interests have expanded as she has transitioned through life. As her children left the house, she turned to quilting and also took up machine embroidery in the last six years. Kim’s passions include both stitching out and teaching Kimberbell machine embroidery projects as well as other machine embroidery designs/designers. She loves to piece quilts, with Lori Holt and other designers being her current go-to projects, and loves to see all the new fabics and patterns on the market. Kim is excited to share her Kimberbell journey with us.
