Cecilia Reid will do a history talk on Feedsacks, starting with Logo bags from the 1850s through the 1960s. What is and isn’t a feedsack will surprise you! She follows in her mother Patricia Reid’s footsteps. Patricia Reid documented 18,249 different colors and patterns of feedsacks and also did history talks. Cecilia herself has been doing this for 30 years as well as vending at quilt shows around the country and helping those who restore vintage quilts find just the right material to match the original fabric used. Cecilia will show many examples of fabric, clothing, quilt tops, and quilt made from feedsacks.
